GAP Trail

The starting/finishing point of the Great Allegheny Passage trail is located next to the South Side Traveler’s Rest in the historic Pittsburgh neighborhood of South Side. Our hostel hosts a variety of guests, including biking and cycling enthusiasts who travel the GAP trail.
We pride ourselves on providing the most comfortable and affordable lodging for our GAP trail travelers and encourage visitors to contact us with any questions.

GAP Trail Parking

Although the South Side Traveler’s Rest hostel does not have designated GAP Trail parking or hostel parking for guests, we recommend parking at the East Parking Lot or the West Stadium Lot at Station Square. The parking garage and parking lots are approximately six blocks from the hostel.

There is also free street parking on South 6th Street & Bingham Street.
