Booking Policies at The Traveler’s Rest.

  • Guests will be charged at time of reservation.

  • No walk-ins permitted. All reservations must be made in advance.

  • Check-in time: 4pm Check-out time: 11am*

    • If made at least two days before the reservation date, guests may email info@sstrpgh.com to request an early check-in for a $25 fee, pending approval. Restrictions apply.

  • The Traveler’s Rest is a non-smoking/non-vaping facility. Designated smoking area is available outside.

  • We do not allow outside linens in any guest rooms or communal areas.

  • No outside guests will be permitted.*

  • ADA Service Dogs, provided they meet up to date ADA Service Dog requirements, are the only animals permitted for overnight stays. Responsibility for each dog falls to the guest with whom the reservation is under.

  • We will charge a minimum $50 for any additional cleanup required by staff, resulting from guest behavior. We will also assess any damage done and charge accordingly.

  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany any guest under 18.

  • Maximum stay is 14 nights every 365 days.

  • We charge $20 for lost FOBs, $10 for lost keys.

  • Alcohol is permitted. Drunkenness is not. Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol on the Traveler’s Rest’s premises, and staff reserves the right to ID anyone, at any time, under any circumstances.

  • Illicit drug use on the premises is prohibited.

  • Quiet hours from 11pm – 7am are enforced for the comfort of other guests. Please be respectful. *

  • Any guests who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety, and/or security of other guests, staff, and/or property (or otherwise violate our policies) will be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

  • No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours prior to the check-in date will be charged the full amount of the reservation.*

    • Cancellation policy subject to change when amenities are booked through Expedia™, AirBNB™, Booking.com™, and other online travel agencies which Traveler's Rest Hotel has partnered

  • Discounts and special rates may include changes to policies including (though not restricted to) cancellation and deposit return. Read the terms & conditions of discounts and specials carefully before booking.

  • Guest information will not be sold to nor shared with any third party, by Traveler’s Rest, without expressed permission from guest.
